I try to make it a rule never to take joy from the death of another human being, call it a karma thing. However, in regards to the war on terror, this can only be a good thing. So, I guess i'm a little relieved, and maybe feeling a bit better about the whole operation. Maybe. I only hope that we don't see 7 more al-Zarqawi's pop up to replace him. Then, as Ron White says, the terror alert system would probably go to "put on the damn helmet." My question is, how in the Hell did they get those lovely portraits mounted and framed so fast...do they have 1 hour photo over there? Weird.

Anon, I pondered the same question. Can I be a good Catholic and be happy about the death of another individual? But, I also believe that some people are so evil that the world is a better place without them. I believe that God does not prevent evil because we have the freedom of choice on whether to do good or evil, but I also believe God does not punish those who fight against evil. I am glad he is dead, and I have no remorse in that feeling. I think there will be a power struggle to become the “new face” of Al Qaeda in Iraq, but that inward struggle can only be good for the Iraqi people because it lessens the overall strength within the group while the decide on a new leader, we can only hope it also leads to less violence. I also agree with your framed photo comment, it does seem to become a sort of “trophy-photo” that is why I chose to use one not framed.

My kiss, I think he has actually gained some weight recently; the photo on the left was an older picture. In his last video where his gun got stuck and someone else had to “un-stick” it for him, his face was much more paunchy.

Kat, glad to see you stopped by. I hope you come back often too.

The weight gain was due to his fondness for the new "Mc Terrorist" Happy meals...each game with an assault weapon replica. He was known to gobble down 3 or 4 at one sitting. He also liked the sand flavored shakes, close friends often referred to him as Al-Grimace.
