Teddy Kennedy Photo-Op

Is this really the person we want to decide our immigration policy?

Yes, I know it was a cheap shot by putting this picture on here. I really am against bashing someone personally because I disagree with them politically. I have a great deal of respect for JFK and RFK and I share a great deal of sympathy for Ted Kennedy, I can not imagine losing two brothers and to lose them both from assassination must be exceptionally difficult. And although I disagree with him on virtually ever piece of legislation that he favors, I also admit to having respect for him for dedicating his life in service to his country.
I know that I would not like to have an unflattering photo of me put on the internet either, so I feel a tinge of guilt for putting this photo on here. But, it is still a funny photo. If I found one with Bush when he fell off the Segway I would put that on here too so as to balance it out.
But, I am sure right now though that there is someone from George Magazine hiding in my bushes waiting to take my photo as I get out of the shower.

At least you admit you took a cheap shot. As we all know, how he looks has nothing to do with his ability or lack thereof.

Sure, his looks do not represent his political views or capabilities, and I am almost willing to bet there are not a lot of Senators who are going to be in the next issue of Muscle and Fitness Magazine as the average age of a U.S. Senator is about 60, which is so high because Senator Byrd dramatically raises the average age.

Put Cheney on a boat. Take off his shirt. Sit him down. Take his picture. Put them side by side. See any difference?

Not likely.

Not Bush. Cheney. The real president.

QD, there would be a difference. First, Kennedy has a full head of hair and second, and this is really gross, but Cheney would have a huge scar down the front of his chest from all the heart surgeries so I have a feeling there would be no hair there either.

Good point. But that would be about it. Also, the guy on the boat with Cheney would have to be able to duck.

...While the guy on the boat with Ted had BETTER know how to swim (beat you to it).

Now that made me chuckle. But, it is only true if Kennedy was drinking, but then again he is a Kennedy and he is Irish, so when are we not drinking. (No I am not a Kennedy, but I am Irish).
