The missing WMDs have been found?

On Monday’s episode of The Daily Show (March 21, 2006), Jon Stewart interviewed Georges Sada, aka Gewargis or George Hormis. Sada who was born in Northern Iraq and raised by Christian parents, graduated in 1959 from the Iraqi Air Academy, and went to study overseas in Britain, the USSR and the United States. Through 1964-1965 he studied piloting in Texas, and in July 1968, began serving in the Iraqi Air Force. Sada who went on to train other pilots, became Air Vice Marshal in Saddam Hussein’s military. Now retired from the military, Georges is director of the Iraqi Institute for Peace and serves as spokesman for the newly elected prime minister of Iraq. In recent years, Georges held the position of principal advisor to the former Iraqi Prime Minister, Iyad Allawi. Additionally, he acted as the lead consultant for the reconstruction of all three branches of the Iraqi defense system.
But most importantly, in Monday’s interview, Stewart questioned Sada about a portion of Sada’s new book, Saddam's Secrets: How an Iraqi General Defied And Survived Saddam Hussein, where Sada insists that his pilots told him that Hussein had ordered them to fly portions of the WMD stockpiles to Damascus in Syria just prior to the War in Iraq in 2003. This admission would explain the missing WMDs which was the original purpose for the War in Iraq. Sada said there were WMDs in Iraq just prior to the war and that soon this information will made public.
This begs three questions. First, is Sada telling the truth? Second, if he is telling the truth, does Syria now possess stockpiles of Weapons of Mass Destruction? And third, if his admission is correct, how does this affect the overall perception of the war?
I find this to be startling information and even more startling considering I learned it on The Daily Show.
